Epic Vacay - Our travels bells rang again in March 2023.We quickly engaged our long time friend and travel consultant Travel Expeditions  to organize a 4 nights vacation ( including transport ) for... read more us as we really needed some time away from the Nairobi pressures given that last year we were unable to tour during our preferred time in Q3 & Q4  because of the disruption of the election .
As usual she took charge of the request and narrowed down to a prime opportunity  in the renowned Neptune properties with a package that gave us access to two of the resorts namely Neptune village and Neptune paradise. 
This option suited us the most as 1) we would experience all inclusive accommodation in 2 leading resorts in kenya, 2) Jacky negotiated a package that allowed us to add one more night at a reasonably low price considering full access to the two hotels, room upgrades and personalized service; 3) There were very few people in the resorts during this time of the year giving us the privacy to explore and enjoy the hotels and finally 4) Diani being our favorite destination, it was too good of a deal to pass. 
Jacky ensured that every part of the vacation had her touch once again delivering beyond our expectations. See we had never been to the Neptune properties, so you can imagine have lunch in one and dinner in the other one and enjoying drinks in one bar today and tomorrow the other one. One thing that surprised us is how one gets an all round exposure to relax, unwind and enjoy such a trip. Definitely this is  not something you get spending the whole vacation time in one resort.  There is a different elevation in pleasure and relaxation when you have the opportunity to experience different cuisines, beach spaces and activities all in one package. 
The days flew by quickly as usual , but we had ample time to soak in the white sandy beaches and turquoise water, enjoy amazing cuisines and cocktails , explore the neighboring community and  appreciate the beauty that lies in Diani. 
We came back to Nairobi overrun with great memories and great admiration of for the effort Tranquil expeditions puts in curating a memorable vacation . We continue to strongly recommend them.

Magical safari to Kenya and Tanzania  - I planed to take teens on an educational tours and Africa is one destination I was interested in. I ended up in Kenya because... read more of its closeness to Tanzania. A friend from Kenya introduced me to SoulconsciousTravels and I contacted them. After a number of calls we settled on a 10 day trip of Kenya and Tanzania.

Being a first time, I travelled with 7 teens and we started in Nairobi, went to Kereita for Ziplining and tours the Kibra Slum and tea farms. We visited Gare Ndare forest and the canopy was breath. The beach in Watamu was a spectacle. Masaai Mara and crossing over to Serengeti National Park was magical. We finished our trip in Arusha.

We saw many birds, spotted the big 5 and visited the tea farms and coffee farms.
I am grateful to Jackline and Wilie for putting this trip together. The teens loved the choice of hotels and places we visited. Our tour guide doubled as the driver and he was professional and attentive.

The tour planning and information was commendable. I recommend this tour company to anyone planning to go to Kenya or Tanzania or both countries. I recommend them for Africa Safaris

Meticulously Planned Honeymoon Safari  - We started planning our destination wedding and honeymoon in 2022 in June. We checked a couple of options in Africa and settled on Kenya. We... read more travelled in January for final planning and had our wedding in Lamu Kenya by the beach and then went to Samburu and Panari Resort Nyahururu for our 7 days honeymoon.

Anne helped a lot with the wedding planning and getting us suppliers while Jackie was the main person on the honeymoon planning. We enjoyed every bit of our travel and we made great memories. Our highlight was seeing different 🦒 and the pinstriped grey zebra. The accommodation in Lamu and the complimentary evening sail to the mangroves is memorable.

I would recommend Tranquil Expeditions wholeheartedly. They are thoughtful, engaging and kind. They are meticulous in their planning and available on call for any assistance .

I paid for my Safari Safari 3 instalments and I loved the flexibility. Working with Jackie and Ann to plan the trip was stress free and fun. The Communication was seamless and the serive was top notch. Their constant communication eased the anxiety I had as a first time solo traveller.

I recommend this company to anyone who would like to travel for East Africa Safari.

Relaxing and amazing  - When we think of traveling our minds ring Jacky.
Starting from unutilized air ticket for Dec (2021) which we were in despair that the funds paid then would be unutilized... read more due to Covid -19 Omicron but luckily with Jacky on board she quickly advised us that the tickets could be extended for 3 months by paying for the change of dates fee ( a fraction of the original price ) and with adequate planning , we prompted her again with specific dates in March (2022) to give us the adequate places to visit around Diani which she confidently recommended Diani Sea Resort on All inclusive basis (the first experience on the same).
Upon reaching the resort we were received warmly and given a complimentary glass of natural juice to cool off and acclimatize .

The ambiance of the hotel was eye catching as we walked to our room with numerous colombus monkeys swinging from tree to tree. This is indeed what we needed in a vacation.

Our room was beautiful set out and the 1st thing we did was to sit at the balcony to enjoy the cool breeze , stare at white ocean cups fold towards the sandy beach..! It was breathtaking !

We changed and later walked to the beach to relax and that’s when the drinks kept coming . Lunch was incredible, the menu was diverse and there is something for everyone even vegan.
This was a good break for us to detach from the hectic routine
of early morning alarms, traffic etc instead, we enjoyed beautiful sunrises and relaxing walks in the beach.

The meals were mouth watering and the German touch was evident .Fast forward to the last day we contemplated adding a few more days to our stay but that’s the effect such a place has. It gets you to want more and more.
We got back to work to Nairobi and struggled to adjust as the experience we had felt like an unending pleasurable hangover .
